Sen. Greg Dolezal is quoted in the same release on investigating misuse of taxpayer dollars and “the politically driven prosecution of President Trump and other Republicans.” The release cites Senate Resolution 465 (2024) as the committee’s charter. That is an official state statement about legislative process. It is not a criminal conviction, not a finding of personal guilt, and not a court judgment.

The Fulton County District Attorney staff page for Jeff DiSantis titles him “Deputy District Attorney, Media Relations Division” and states he is “the Deputy District Attorney overseeing the Media Relations Unit,” “responsible for keeping the public informed of the work of the District Attorney and the issues the office is handling that are of importance to the people of Fulton County.” The DA Executive Team / Media Relations Division pages place that unit in the office’s public-information structure. Exact start date is not printed on those pages. March 2021 news already named him spokesman. Do not invent a hire date.

Associated Press reporting carried by WABE on March 10, 2021 stated that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis “has engaged John Floyd to serve as a special assistant district attorney to work with lawyers in her office on any cases involving allegations of racketeering, her spokesman Jeff DiSantis said,” and that a Fulton County Superior Court judge swore Floyd that morning. CNN’s write-up of the same hire quoted DiSantis: he was retained for racketeering expertise generally — “not for any specific case.” Those sentences document that DiSantis was already the named spokesman in March 2021 as Willis’s office discussed racketeering in the same season as the Trump-call investigation. They do not document that DiSantis personally charged Donald Trump or that Floyd’s hire was a personal crime by DiSantis.

The Fulton County biography states that Jeff DiSantis “served as the executive director of the Democratic Party of Georgia.” The page does not print the years. The University of Georgia oral-history abstract for his August 27, 2019 interview says he “talks about working with Bobby Kahn as executive director of the Democratic Party of Georgia, including the 2006 election cycle.” Roll Call (April 2, 2009) identified him in print as “former Democratic state party executive director” while he confirmed Baker gubernatorial paperwork.
